Consisting of more than 30 thousand companies, which employ 1,6 million brazilians, the food industry earns more than 640 billion reais per year, representing about 10% of GDP (Gross Domestic Product).

The predominantly urban population seeks food with higher added value, and the demands of modern life have changed food consumption habits, stimulating this chain, which in turn, already processes 58% of all agricultural production in the country. The consumption of industrialized food reflects 80% of the total, making Brazil the 5th largest consumer market in the world and the largest exporter of products such as sugar, orange, meat, coffee, soybean oil, and processed food, earning almost 40 billion reais per year in international negotiations that substantially benefit the brazilian trade balance.

VETTOR has been supplying large food industries, providing water-cooling towers, designed to measure, for clients such as Cargill, Nestlé, Bunge, ADM Indústria e Comércio de Alimentos, Louis Dreyfus Company, Caramuru Alimentos, among others.
